Terms and Conditions

Last updated

These terms apply when you use PlatsAI: our website (platsai.se) and our app (app.platsai.se). By creating an account you agree to them, so please read them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.

1. Who we are

PlatsAI is provided by Rahul Khilwani, Rödlönnsgången 28, 417 11 Gothenburg, Sweden. You can reach us at hello@platsai.se.

2. What PlatsAI is

PlatsAI helps people looking for work in Sweden. It lets you search jobs, score how well jobs match your CV, get AI analyses of job ads, generate cover letters, track your applications and export them for your Aktivitetsrapport.

  • PlatsAI is an independent service. It is not part of, endorsed by or connected to Arbetsförmedlingen or any unemployment fund (a-kassa). Job ads come from Arbetsförmedlingen's open job data.
  • PlatsAI does not submit your Aktivitetsrapport. You are responsible for reporting to Arbetsförmedlingen correctly and on time, and for following your own action plan.
  • We don't guarantee results. PlatsAI can't promise that you'll get interviews or a job.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older to create an account.
  • Give correct information and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
  • One account per person. You must confirm your email address before using the app.
  • Tell us at hello@platsai.se if you think someone else has used your account.

4. Free trial and the Free plan

  • New accounts get a 7-day free trial with full access. No card is needed to start it.
  • One free trial per person. Creating extra accounts to get more trials isn't allowed, and repeat sign-ups start on the Free plan.
  • When the trial ends without a paid plan, your account moves to the Free plan: you can still search jobs and use the application tracker, but AI features, CV storage and exports are locked until you choose a plan. Your data is kept.

5. Paid plans and payment

  • We offer the Job Seeker plan (149 SEK per month) and the Pro plan (249 SEK per month). The features and usage limits of each plan are shown on our pricing pages and in the app. Prices are in Swedish kronor and include any taxes that apply.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly period, and is charged to your payment method, until you cancel.
  • AI features have fair usage limits per plan (for example, match scores per month or deep scans per day). The limits are shown in the app.
  • Price changes: we'll email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription. If you don't want to continue at the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time under Billing in the app. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and then won't renew. Apart from your right of withdrawal below, we don't refund the rest of a period that has already started.

7. Your 14-day right of withdrawal

If you're a consumer, the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (distansavtalslagen) gives you the right to withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of the day you first subscribed (paid for a plan).

  • When you subscribe, you ask us to give you access to the paid plan straight away, during the withdrawal period.
  • If you withdraw, we refund what you paid minus a proportionate amount for the days you had access. We refund you within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method.
  • To withdraw, email hello@platsai.se with your account email and a clear statement that you want to withdraw. You may use the standard withdrawal form (ångerblankett) published by the Swedish Consumer Agency, but you don't have to.

The free trial is free, so it doesn't start the withdrawal period. The period starts when you first pay.

8. Using PlatsAI fairly

You agree not to:

  • upload content you don't have the right to use, or another person's personal data without their permission;
  • use PlatsAI for anything illegal, misleading or harmful, such as applying for jobs with false information;
  • try to get around plan limits, the one-trial-per-person rule, or our security;
  • scrape, copy or resell PlatsAI or its data, or access it with bots or automated tools;
  • interfere with PlatsAI or with other people's use of it.

9. Your content

Your CVs, cover letters, notes and other content remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide PlatsAI to you, including sending them to our AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your content at any time.

10. AI-generated content

Match scores, analyses and cover letters are produced by AI. They can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Always review and edit AI output before you use it. You decide what to send to employers, and you're responsible for it.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep PlatsAI available and secure, but we can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features. If a change significantly reduces what you've paid for, we'll tell you in advance, and you can cancel.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law. Otherwise:

  • We're not liable for indirect losses, such as missed job opportunities, lost income or a reduction in unemployment benefit.
  • Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
  • These limits don't apply if we caused the damage intentionally or through gross negligence.

13. Ending your account

You can stop using PlatsAI and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Where reasonable, we'll warn you first and give you the chance to download your data.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.

15. Law and disputes

Swedish law applies to these terms. If something goes wrong, please contact us first at hello@platsai.se; we'll try to solve it quickly.

If we can't agree, you can take a consumer dispute to the National Board for Consumer Disputes, Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN, arn.se). Otherwise, disputes are settled by a Swedish general court.
